I started “Cadera Jewelry” from a simple conviction: that an object can carry a sense of place, and a genuine respect for the landscape that shaped it.

The name comes from a word used on Chios, the Greek island I'm from — a drawer where personal objects of value are kept, not for display but for meaning. That's the kind of jewelry I make: pieces to be carried, worn, and lived with over time.

Form, for me, comes from observation. From erosion, weight, repetition, touch. From landscapes and fragments and everyday rituals that most people overlook. Each piece is designed to feel grounded and familiar — as if it has always existed in some form, and you've simply found it.

The practice remains open to dialogue and shared thinking. Ideas often emerge through conversation, observation, and material exploration, allowing space for interpretation while remaining guided by a clear design language.

About Cadera Jewelry

Black and white portrait of Cadera jewelry designer

Cadera is run by Dimitris Kreatsoulas, a designer originally from Chios, Greece. The work is developed and produced with close attention to making, wearability, and longevity. Each piece is handled individually, reflecting a personal relationship between maker, object, and wearer.

All pieces are made to be worn often and to age with the person who carries them. Variation is not treated as error, but as evidence of process.

Cadera operates as an evolving practice rather than a fixed aesthetic, remaining open to new contexts while staying anchored in material integrity and restraint.
